Given the very limited geographical area they could have lived, it's not hard to fathom. God will reveal His truths in His due time.

If you have trouble with any of the teachings, I'd encourage you to talk to someone about them. Send me a message sometime. The DNA thing is a perfect example--it is very easy to construe the "evidence" to make something appear false. However, with the right context, that is an easy concern to make logical sense out of.

Anyway, keep praying, stay open, and keep the possibilities open. There will be lots of people to welcome you back when you're ready for that decision.

To tell you the truth Ive considered it from time to time, Comming back that is but right now would obviously be a bad time. Like ive said I just have a hard time believing some of the teachings when many of them "at least in my opinion" have been proven false. Ive also heard many racial accusations against the church and although I haven't came to any conclusion on those I will be looking into them with an open mind as well. But I will keep praying although right now im not going to church.

I'm glad you brought an open mind when you joined the Church. You mentioned that you don't think your heart was where it should have been.

Have you considered coming back, with an open mind and open heart? No need to give me an answer, but I hope you would consider it in prayer.

None of the members of the Church are perfect. If the Church was for pefect people, the pews would certainly be empty on Sunday! :)

I understand that there can be circumstances where people can say things or imply things that are hurtful. Have I ever been offended by another church member? You bet, just like I've been offended by people at school, work, and essentially any group in which I've spent a lot of time. It's inevitable at some point because of our imperfections.

I appreciate you putting that into perspective for me because that was one of the main reasons I left the church. But there seems to be alot of competition among church members about those kind of things. But I'll be honest I went into the church with an open mind But I don't think my heart was where it should have been or I could never have accepted the prophets that lead the church. But Some of the nicest people I meant were within the church while some were distant. But I am not here to judge

That quote is from lds*org and I believe answers your concern. The Church recognizes that not every person will have the opportunity to be married in this life.

"While this family unit is the ideal, many Church members find themselves in a variety of other circumstances. Some are not married, but have good support from their parents or siblings. Others may not have support from an extended family. The gospel of Jesus Christ was given by God to bless all His children, without exception, regardless of the family situations in which they find themselves. The gospel provides a brotherhood and sisterhood to strengthen and help all God's children.

Actually there were more reasons I left the church. I don't agree with the family proclamation because it doesn't and shouldn't apply to every member of the church. I don't believe that if someone doesn't get married and be fruitful and multiply that the are undeserving of going to a higher level of heaven. My Bible says that Those who believe in me meaning "Jesus Christ" shall not persish but have everlasting life. Christ didn't come to fullfill the law meaning we don't have to earn our way.

I hope the DNA issue is not the reason you really left the Church.

Do you believe that there were no inhabitants on the American continent before the Book of Mormon people arrived? Of course there were!

And how many people came with Lehi, for example? 15-20? Imagine joining a continent where there could potentially be millions of people here before.

2500 years later, how diluted would the DNA of 15 people be among millions?
