The baseless criticism that the LDS church frequently receives on the internet is unjust, and alarmingly signifies that a sizable portion of our society clearly lacks tolerance. In order to discredit the Knights Templars (who had discovered this symbol when they excavated the Jerusalem temple) he superimposed a goat figure over the star and accused the Templars of worshipping satan.
