Just wearing it, will not protect us, that no mormon should believe, but remembering the commandments of god is always good, and this garments help us to do!

The undergarments are viewed as a symbolic reminder of the sacred covenants made in temple ceremonies, and are viewed as an either symbolic or literal source of protection from the evils of the world. HOW CAN UNDERWEAR PROTECT YOU FROM EVIL, THATS SOMETHING YOU DID NOT TELL EVERYONE ON YOUR VIDEO, YOU ARE MISLEADING PEOPLE.

Your underwear may not protect you, but remembering your covenants will. Lambs blood on the door post seems like a weird and maybe even morbid way of protecting the children of Israel, yet the Lord prescribed it as a symbol of the atonement. Thus, it is the atonement that protects a person, and not the symbol itself. The same can be said of baptism or of any other covenant made between God and man. All serves to direct our attention to Christ and the promises we’ve made to follow Him

I get what youre saying, but WHY DID IT HAD TO BE UNDERWEAR? I mean you could just wear a batdge, or a speshul tie, or patch on your shoulder and that would be fine enough, right? At least the other religion gets to wear silly clothing get get away with it in public.

Good Question! Why underwear? Interestingly, the Lord is the one who chooses the symbols and not us. If He would have asked us to wear a patch instead of garments, that’s what I’d be doing. Why water for baptism? Why bread and wine, and not cookies and milk? Why a turtle dove and not a hamster? The Lord prescribes the ordinances and covenants. There are other reasons as well, so you can write me if you want to know more.
