Life in a Mormon family

the national average. ;) People frequently ask us what it is like to have such a large family, so we thought we’d share how it has been for us. Our belief in eternal families deepens our relationships with each other and definitely makes us want to plan for the “long term.” Having a big family may not be for everyone and may not always be considered “cool”, but we’ve loved every minute of it. I realize this is a little late, but for anyone wondering, Big Lots had them last year.

KID AFTER KID AFTER KID AFTER KID isn’t healthy for the world. Whether they’re Catholic, Muslim, Mormon, Jewish, whatever. Overpopulation is becoming inevitable. I, btw, am Catholic and think it is best to keep to 2 children max.

We were expecting our last little girl when this was filmed – I’ve felt bad about how to add her – maybe I’ll make her her own video ;)

Having eight kids certainly isn’t for everyone; but it was for us.

I respect your decision; and I hope you respect mine.

aw congratulations on your beautiful family!
People call my family large – I’m the oldest of four, but I always thought it was pretty small :)

People should understand when the bible said to “Be fruitful and multiply”, the earth was barren and there was no other people living on it. Now, there are chidren starving in our own back yards and 3rd world nations. I don’t think that God would want this to contiue whilr millions of his children are already dying everyday and are neglected. I could be wrong, it’s just my opinion. I only wish more people would adopt the children we have now, in need of a home.

You made my day. I’m LDS, too. And the song is right. What is it called? And your family is beautiful. : )

I don’t really know when having a large loving family stopped being the norm, and I’m only 28. I am facing problems having kids so God bless large families. I am the youngest of 6.

  17. LightofChrist02 says:

Your kids are way cute! I love the song and I totally get what it is saying. Mormons and their big families and beliefs are not always “cool” but we really don’t care because we cool are in God’s eyes and it really does not matter what the world says. I hope what I am saying makes sence. Have fun with your amazing cute family!

May God bless you and your beautiful family. I truly admire you for this especially since I feel God calling me to have a large family as well. Seeing this shows me the great beauty in His call.

thank you for furthering the overpopulation of our planet. Your outlook on life is so selfish and isolated, its a joke. I hope your children were born smarter than you and leave the church.

  22. blooit says:

I don’t personally subscribe to overpopulation theory, and I’m not sure how dedicating my life to my wife and children is selfish or isolated.

I do agree with you on one point though, my kids are much smarter (and better looking) than me.

    Take care.
