People say a glass of wine is good for you, bu it is not because of the alcohol. Alcohol stresses the liver, which degrades healthy cholesterol levels which in turn is bad on the cardiovascular system and the heart. It is the anti-oxidants in grapes (wine) such as resveratrol that are good for the heart. NOT THE ALCOHOL! Alcohol is veyr much a poison, and is in no way beneficial to a persons health.
