You can make all the excuses you want, but when you treat people like dirt and scum, don’t act shocked when they decide they don”t like you. When you start showing some respect and tolerance to people who are not gay, and don’t agree with your lifestyle, then you can talk, otherwise your no better then the supposed ‘homophobes’ your always accusing everyone else of being.

  2. jortylbro says:

If by respect and tolerance, you mean others not challenging your marginalization and ridicule of non-straight people then that is not acceptable, especially even when you are the one not showing respect and tolerance towards them. The irony seems to go right over your head.

  3. Dyoni1 says:

You just can’t take anything seriously can you, it’s all about you, they only people who matter to you are gay, you don’t care if you have to take away the rights of everyone else as long as they get what they want, freedom be damned. This is why I don’t have any respect for gays anymore, self centered and intolerent to anyone outside their circle.

Take a look around, I’m not the one spray paining nazi symbols of churches because I didn’t get my way.

  4. Dyoni1 says:

How you act in defeat shows more about your true colors, and you’ve shown a very ugly side. You can make up all the excuses you want to try and jusfify your behavior, but hate is hate, and your as guilty of it as anyone else. You’ve only managed to alienate any potential allies in your single minded, nonnegotiatable pretense of gay rights.

  5. jortylbro says:

It’s not about me, it’s about everyone who is affected by it. I’m speaking from a privileged position; I am a straight, white, male, and I don’t know why you assume it’s an issue that only concerns gay people themselves. You talk about being selfish, but you are the one who is expecting other people not to tread on your toes when you are the one supporting the marginilization of non-straight people in the first place. That is pretty hypocritical of you.

  6. jortylbro says:

I don’t know if you are deliberately being dishonest, or if you aren’t reading what I’ve been saying. Gay activists are reacting to homophobia. They aren’t starting a fight for the hell of it. They are challenging your aggression and intention neglect of these issues. You are responsible as much as anyone else, so stop playing the victim.

  7. Dyoni1 says:

Gay activists are reacing to ‘homophobia’ by taking it out on anyone they perceive as a threat, weither they are or not. Check out castro reaction to christians singing on a public street, or sueing colleges for having codes against homosexual activities in their dorms, or closing down religious adoption programs. Yes, they are SO tolerent of those not geared towards supporting homosexual behavior. As for victim playing, you guys have that down to a T, milking evey oportunity for all it’s worth

  8. Dyoni1 says:

They even go so far as comparing themselves to black slaves and jews, people who knew real injustice and equality. How about you fight your own battles instead of using others as a step ladder for your goals

  9. Dyoni1 says:

But that’s your only tactic isn’t it, call anyone who doesn’t agree with you dishonest, homophobe, bigot, or whatever other slur you can think of, that way you can justify everything you do to people, because your SO much better and righteous then everyone else. You want real respect, try actually living at a higher standard instead of trying to pull everyone down into the mud with you.

  10. jortylbro says:

Those Christians you speak of appeared in a gay community after the passing of Prop 8. It was passive aggressive act that they knew was going to spark a reaction so that they could play the victim once again.

“Yes, they are SO tolerent of those not geared towards supporting homosexual behavior. ”

You really aren’t getting it. They are trying to dismantle that kind of discrimination, and they aren’t making any secret about it.

  11. Dyoni1 says:

You don’t get it, your not dismantling descrimination, your just creating a new one, and last time I checked fighting hate with hate only creates more hate. You couldn’t care less about negotiating a fair solution with respect toward everyone, gays only care about what they get out of it, not about any real equality. There are several other options available, but no, only the one they pick out is good enough, because it forces people to condone their behavior rather then giving them the choice.

  12. Dyoni1 says:

And you will willingly justify any attack they make, anything they do that hurts others, dismissing it with the usual hogwash that gays are the only victims, and that anyone else deserves it, or planned it. Right, the whole world is in on an anti-gay conspiricy. Get real, get over yourself, and try actually respecting everyones opinions rather then just your own.

  13. jortylbro says:

What discrimination am I replacing homophobia with? Discrimination against hateful idiots? Discrimination against people who are hostile towards you is different from being discriminatory against people for prejudiced and ignorant reasons.

Why should I have to negotiate with you when you have no justification for why you should be disrespecting others? Of course gay people are standing up for themselves, but that’s because they aren’t equal. How is it selfish to be concerned about inequality?

  14. Dyoni1 says:

Which proves exactly my point, you form one extreme, and insist that it is the “right way”. Take a look at your posts and tell me their not one sided. Personally, I think everyone should have civil union and leave marrage as a religious option, get the government out of it altogether and let it handle ‘benefits’. Of course you won’t be happy with that, but hey, your only happy with your own personally designed form of equality, which isn’t really equality at all, but ‘gay advancement’.

  15. Dyoni1 says:

“Who are you to tell others…”

And who are you? last time I checked, everyone has a right to freedom of speech, freedom of belief. It is you who insist that your beliefs take priority over everyone elses, that your ideology be enforced and accepted, and that no one has a right to disagree or voice their opinion. You don’t believe in equality, for your flawed arguement insists that you need no negotiation, that everything you want be handed to you on a silver platter.

  16. Dyoni1 says:

Face it, the no arguement has been flawed from the beginning, comparing themselves to groups that they have nothing to do with, playing up media attention and hate mongering against those who dare disagree with their views, ultimatly, they don’t care about ‘love’ or ‘tolerance’, nor even the much insisted ‘benefits’, it’s about social engeneering, enforcing an acceptance and protection for their behaviors in violation of everyone elses freedom of belief and free speech.

  17. Dyoni1 says:

Just take a look at attitude they take when people attempt to negotiate with them, When LDS tried negotiating, the gay activists insisted that in order to do so, that LDS had to endorse gay behavior as acceptable and normal to their members, in otherwords, betray their beliefs and doctrines just to negotiate something. That’s all they care about is forcing others to accept them, by force if necisary.

  18. nickphilly says:

Lame. Maybe a scared right should be taken away from the person who made this video, and then see how they act.

  19. Michael707S says:

people can donate to whatever cause they want. ANYBODY who calls for ‘equal rights’ or ‘tolerance’ yet wants to infringe the right to free speech of their opponents or is intolerant of other people’s beliefs ( namely the liberals who preach tolerance yet are completely intolerant of anybody who does not support them or agree with their views) is a hypocrite.

  20. Michael707S says:

they are trying to establish themselves as a privileged group, above the rest of us.

Thank you for your comment. You’re 110% right.

  22. cpmkw says:

Great video until you mix in the incomprehensible craziness of the kids, the symphony, and the nuts talking about Stalin and Hitler, It’s impossible to grasp what (if any) point the poster is attempting to make. And what’s with the white people with the Swedish-flag-themed paraphenalia at the end???? Very weird video. The coverage of the LGBT people taking it to the streets against the rich fundie wacko bigots, is very inspiring though.
