In this video I explain why it’s important to avoid or look beyond anti-Mormon media. … Mormon Mormonism “lds church” “Joseph Smith” “Book of Mormon” “secret temple ceremonies” “mormons exposed” “latter-day saints” “mormon lies” “Jesus Christ” church religion
You have such a great way of explaining things – such a warm manner. I really enjoy your videos. Keep it up, friend.
I was given 2 anti-Mormon books, several pamphlets, and many lectures by my family and our pastor when I began studying with the LDS missionaries. I could feel there was a spirit of darkness associated with those materials. When I studied with the missionaries and attended LDS worship services, however, I felt a calm and peaceful feeling–I felt the Holy Ghost. I remembered that Jesus Christ was the King of Peace, and not of darkness and confusion, which comes from anti-Mormon media.
Anyone who watches this video and has been exposed to anti-Mormon materials, keep in mind that most of these critical accusations against the LDS Church have already been clearly answered, exposed as either falsehoods, half-truths, bending of the facts, etc. Even “scientific” and “archeological” anti-Mormon claims have received thorough rebuttal or been proven to be in error by scholars.
I was an investigator of the Church for half a year. Recently I was drawn back to the Church I was born into, the Unification Church. I am happy I seriously considered joining the Church. Mormonism brought light to my life of faith and I am thankful for it.
Very nicely put, Brother. I had similar experiences while on my mission in Germany. I might add, if someone wants to understand the true doctrines of any church, one may also study the hymns of that church, as they generally carry the most relevant doctrines.
Simply, would I ask an Amway salesrep about a Proctor and Gambles product? Always go to the source itself.
Thank you, again.
Amen to that. I can always tell when something is just untrue. A person claiming to have something that proves the Church is false, I go to this supposed page and immediately I notice the Spirit leaves. It is darkness. We know that God does not work in darkness, but in light and through the Holy Ghost. I am grateful for that knowledge.
hey, i think its so awesome that you are so openminded and that you visited other local churches on your mission!
Every religion has skeletons. It’s the original word of God that will define whether a church is true by what it teaches.
Does the church teach the gospel “good news”, the liberty and freedom in Christ?
Well, when I read about the Holocaust, I feel a certain spirit of darkness associated with those materials and topics.
I guess they must be false!!
Hopefully those feelings of darkness didn’t turn into a false notion that Germans are and will always be innately intolerant, violent, and loathsome. Hopefully you studied it enough to realize that many Germans were in fact strongly apposed to National Socialism…You should probably watch the video again because you missed the point.
Well said. You have a very special knack on explaining to people what you believe and how you understand your faith.i’m a mormon and have been reading a lot of anti materials about our church.everytime I read them,I notice that how they mockingly disagree and denounce our belief is apparently not Christian.
There is a clear difference between the light and knowledge that is gained from reading the Bible and Book of Mormon and the baseness and confusion prevalent in anti-Mormon literature.
Most modern critical commentary, esp. on the internet, is just silly.
The people who produce and promote it have been sorely deceived.
